The perfect cake to serve at tea time.
1/2 | lb. | self-raising flour | |

1/2 | teaspoon | salt | |

1 | teaspoon | cinnamon | |

2 | oz. | chopped nuts | |
|
|||
4-1/2 | oz. | Sun Maid Seedless Raisins | |
|
|||
4 | oz. | margarine | |
|
|||
6 | oz. | granulated sugar | |
|
|||
2 | eggs | ||
|
Grease and flour a loaf tin, 9-1/2 x 5-1/2 x 2 -1/2 inches. Sift together first three ingredients and add the nuts and raisins.
Cream the margarine and sugar thoroughly and add the eggs, one at a time, beating thoroughly after each addition.
Add the flour mixture alternately with the milk, beating well after each addition, and bake in the prepared tin in a moderate oven at 350 F. for about 1 - 1-1/4 hours.
